Completing the GNR put me on such a high it's made me determined to keep pushing and improve my pace. The Runners World website has a huge database of forthcoming events and I found a good few that I will pick my next challenge from.

Woohoo! I completed the Great North Run yesterday in 2h 17m 44s which is 10 mins quicker than I have done before - so a personal best! I am so chuffed with myself. It was such a great run, the support along the way was brilliant, as usual, the atmosphere was buzzing, the weather was sunny, but not too hot and I felt so fit I think I could have ran another couple of miles at the end!

I also raised £383.70 for Beating Bowel Cancer, which is fantastic. Thank you everyone for your support.
